Mr. Mir Sahed Ali was born on June 6, 1981, into a bourgeois Muslim family in the historic neighborhood of Old Dhaka, Bangladesh. Although he was raised in the capital, his ancestral roots trace back to the Manikganj District. He is the youngest of four children born to Mr. Mir Shawkat Ali and the late Mrs. Sahida Begum.
His father, Mr. Mir Shawkat Ali, is a respected and accomplished photographer, renowned for his contributions to the field in Bangladesh. His mother was a devoted homemaker, dedicated to nurturing the family. Growing up in a close-knit, middle-class joint family in Old Dhaka, Mir Sahed Ali was shaped by a strong sense of responsibility, resilience, and ambition. These early experiences instilled in him the qualities of a dreamer, a problem solver, and a proactive leader—traits that continue to define his personal and professional life.
Pleasant personality Mr. Mir Sahed Ali has completed his Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Jagannath University, Bangladesh. Before that he was a student of Tejgaon Govt. College and Nawabpur Govt High School. His Academic career could not go longer run due to taking family responsibilities but he never stopped learning and completing any professional and Leadership skill developing courses and program related to his career to pursue his dream.
Mir Sahed Ali is highly passionate about Information Technology and is considered as a pioneer in the country’s digital transformation journey. From the early stages of IT development in Bangladesh, he has played a pivotal role in establishing numerous foundational IT platforms. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, he has received multiple prestigious accolades, including the prestigious National IT Award.
In addition to his impact in technology, Mir Sahed Ali is a successful entrepreneur. He is the founder, co-founder, and Managing Director of several prominent ventures, including i-Mesh Limited, eSufiana.com, Jetlia Travels, Zamzam, and Complete Home Solution. Through these enterprises, he continues to influence the landscape of both business and innovation in Bangladesh.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mir Sahed Ali is deeply committed to social welfare and community service. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served as a frontline activist, working tirelessly to support vulnerable populations. As the Charter President of the Rotary Club of Manikganj Synergy, he has led numerous humanitarian missions, including the distribution of relief materials and medical aid in flood-affected regions.
Mir Sahed Ali is also a passionate advocate for youth empowerment and entrepreneurship. As a mentor and influencer, he regularly engages with aspiring young entrepreneurs across the country, delivering speeches at seminars, workshops, and other platforms designed to inspire and guide the next generation of leaders.
